WATG seeks a web design intern to help take us to the next level in visibility and influence. This is a virtual position that serves the entire state of Wisconsin. Intern will work remotely from home. Commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per week with schedule determined by the intern. 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Plan and develop a web page consistent with WATG’s mission and goals
  • Collaborate with Board on new ideas, directions, and venues for the web page
  • Meet with the Website Committee regularly to discuss progress
  • Assist Social Media committee in coordinating website and social media presence
  • Regularly report to the Board on progress
  • Firm grasp of available tools and platforms for web design
  • Working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field
  • Previous internship or related experience in web design is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML and graphic design
  • An effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of WATG and the families we serve

This is an unpaid position, however, a stipend is provided to cover expenses.

Will leave the internship with an understanding and appreciation for how a small non-profit works.
