Born and bred in Chicago, with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Journalism/Advertising from Northwestern University, Pamela began her writing career at Leo Burnett/Chicago. The world of advertising took her back and forth across North America with stopovers at ad agencies such as Benton & Bowles/NYC, Y&R/Montreal, then back to Chicago at FCB and Burrell Communications Group.
For the past 13 years, she’s been running her own company, Radke Creative Communications, LLC, with a focus on both African-American and Healthcare marketing.
Her clients have included McDonald’s, Coors Beer, Procter & Gamble, Sears, Kellogg’s, Illinois Lottery, SuperValu/Jewel-Osco, OfficeMax, and various healthcare/hospital accounts, such as Scripps Health in San Diego, University of Iowa Health Care, MedStar Health in Baltimore, Northwestern University’s Women’s Health Research Institute and US Labs.
An award-winning Creative Director with over 20 years experience, Pamela takes pride in helping her clients grow their business through smart strategic thinking, strong relationship-building communication, and imaginative, creative marketing that touches an emotional chord.
Although her career keeps her busy, she’s also a poet, lyricist/music publisher, and has worked on the “other side” of the microphone as a voice-over talent for TV and radio commercials as well. You can enjoy her work at: www.radkecreative.com
